My family is where I find peace and comfort, but it wasn’t always that way. There were days when my children were very young that I literally thought, “I can’t do this!” It wasn’t until I began to make changes in myself that everything around me changed. I am extremely fortunate to have a husband who has always been my biggest supporter. Together we have raised two beautiful children and it’s the adventure of a lifetime.
As a mother I always strive to give my kids the support they need, to be their anchor when the seas get rough. Every kid deserves that. It’s not always easy; in fact, sometimes it’s downright bumpy. I’ve learned that it’s not really about the bumps, but rather the choices we make when they arise. When things get crazy, I stop and pay attention to what I can control and let go of what I can’t. A peaceful journey is always my goal, and when I can’t find peace within the chaos, I know I can always find a lesson in it.
I completed my life coach training and certification with Dr. Martha Beck who is the author of several New York Times bestsellers, including “Expecting Adam” and “Finding Your Own North Star” as well as being a monthly contributor to O, The Oprah Magazine. I hold a BA from UC Santa Barbara, and prior to being a life coach and fulltime mom, I worked in Human Resources as a Recruiting Manager for Oracle Corporation.
“Amy’s depth, intelligence and heart have earned her a place in my inner circle of soul supporters – talented guides who help me see and stay on my path. She thoroughly understands spiritual principles and how to apply them in real life. Her integrity is reflected in her steady insistence on seeing my best self even when I can’t access it, and astutely recognizing how I might be compromising my highest truth in favor of fear and false belief. Her guidance lovingly reminds me who I really am; her wisdom reminds me where true empowerment resides. Amy’s advice makes me smile inside and out!” ~ Judith

“Amy, thank you for being an excellent listener and for telling me what needs to be said in such a way that keeps me receptive even if it is hard to hear. You are able to recognize projections and guide me to the root of the issue and to own my part, all while allowing me the space to be who I am. You are uplifting and inspirational, and I love how you find humor in the mundane. Your presence has helped lift me out of dark places countless times.” ~ Meg
“Issues with work, personal relationships and making good choices for me just kept coming up and I was in a fog on the best ways to deal with them. But I am fortunate to have Amy as my Life Coach because she has an amazing gift and talent for not only seeing through the fog, zeroing in on my challenges then listening and asking me perceptive questions. And she does this while being encouraging, compassionate and understanding. Therefore the choices that I make and the actions I take are clearer and true to who I am and who I want to be. I have found her coaching to be an invaluable gift in my life.” ~ Sandra
